TACTIM, dance interactive installation
The choreographic interactive installation TACTIM consists of a live size digital picture of a dancer that can be animated by visitors/audience touching a screen. It seems that both visitors and video dancer influence each other’s movement, which creates an intimate dialogue between them.
“What kind of intimacy is it if I only exist when you touch me, look at me and when my body has become an object? Visitors/audience who are touching the screen, what is your role in this game? Without you, I don’t exist, so who are you? And who/what am I?”
By it’s interactive aspect, TACTIM explores the relationship between dance and visitors/audience. This is an experiment that allows an other kind of space and time for choreographic work. It’s purpose is to recompose a choreography with the screen touch and by doing so recomposes a human identity.

TACTIM, installation danse interactive
La première version de Tactim représente l’image grandeur nature d’une danseuse que le visiteur anime en effleurant l’écran tactile. Convié à prendre la place du chorégraphe – démiurge ou pygmalion- le visiteur peut orienter les mouvements de la danseuse et instaurer un dialogue intime avec l’image de ce corps qui ne prend vie que par lui.
« Mais de quelle intimité s’agit-il quand je n’existe que par ton toucher et ton regard ? Quand mon corps est devenu un objet de consommation? Quel rôle joues-tu là dedans toi qui m’animes en effleurant l’écran ? Sans toi je n’existe pas. Mais qui es-tu au fait ? Et qui suis-je ?
Par son caractère interactif Tactim explore les rapports de la danse avec le public et expérimente un autre espace/temps que celui de la représentation scénique en proposant sur un écran les restes humains, traces d’une identité, et d’une chorégraphie à recomposer inlassablement.
